The Challenge
Nong Khai, a key border and tourist city on the Mekong River, faced challenges due to disconnected legacy surveillance systems and lack of automated detection, slowing down police response times and crime investigation.
Our Deployed Solution
NPTech conducted a comprehensive grid assessment, designed a high-speed fiber ring, and deployed: (1) Integration of 300+ public/private CCTV endpoints into a unified Command and Control Operations Center (CCOC), (2) 26 LPR cameras to log vehicles, (3) 24 AI Facial Recognition units at border crossings and major intersections, (4) 10 Interactive SOS Emergency Call Boxes linking residents directly to dispatchers.
Project Results & Impact
The pilot program achieved nationwide recognition. Local incident rates in the Smart Safety Zone dropped significantly within the first 6 months. Police response time to emergency alarms via SOS poles dropped to under 5 minutes, and automated AI tracking successfully accelerated investigation queries by 80%.
